Maplesoft MapleSim 2015.1a نرم افزار Maplesoft MapleSim یکی از نرم‌ افزارهای کاربردی و نام آشنا در زمینه محاسبات فنی برای مهندسین میباشد. این نرم افزار از مجموعه نرم افزارهای شرکت MapleSoft در زمینه مدل سازی و شبیه سازی میباشد. این برنامه انجام مدل سازی پیشرفته سیستم در سطح و شبیه سازی پلت فرم ، کاوش و اعتبار دهی  طرح ها، ایجاد و مدیریت کتابخانه ی بخش های مختلف، و استفاده از مدل های MapleSim در زنجیره ابزار مهندسی را آسان تر و کارآمدتر ساخته است.

MapleSim  با ارائه ی یک رویکرد مدرن  در زمینه ی مدل سازی و شبیه سازی فیزیکی ، به طرز چشمگیری کاهش  زمان ایجاد مدل و تجزیه و تحلیل  را کاهش داده،  و نتایج  به دست آمده در آن  انعطاف پذیری بیشتری در هنگام بررسی نتایج شبیه سازی و بررسی طرح از خود نشان می دهند. در حال حاضر امکان مقایسه شبیه سازی های متعدد ، از جمله شبیه سازی یک مدل واحد و شبیه سازی مدل های مختلف با یک کلیک وجود دارد. مهندسان می توانند فورا رفتار هر متغیر، از جمله متغیرهایی  که به صراحت در طول شبیه سازی شد جستوجو  نشده اند، را رسم کنند.  از دیگر قابلیت ها یان برنامه می توان به توانایی تجسم قیاس بندی ها بین نتایج طرح 2-D ومدل  3 -D در طول شبیه سازی، ایجاد، مدیریت و به اشتراک گذاری راحت تر و سریعتر  کتابخانه ی قطعات سفارشی اشاره نمود.این نرم افزار برای شبیه سازی و مدل سازی از موتور نمادین علائم ریاضی استفاده می‌کند ، مدل سازی در MapleSim با استفاده از قطعات موجود در کتابخانه نرم افزار صورت می‌گیرد به این صورت که قطعات موجود در کتابخانه را انتخاب و در فضای مورد نیاز رها می‌کنید.
